Interroll offers food companies innovative material handling solutions

Drum motors are among the most efficient drive solutions available. Interroll's synchronous drum motors combine the advantages of a drum motor with the high efficiency of a synchronous servo motor. The result is an extremely compact and dynamic drive with an outstanding efficiency of about 85 %.Drum motors can be rubber coated to meet a variety of specifications, making them flexible building blocks for highly efficient conveying processes. Interroll drum motors are certified to meet strict EHEDG standards.

The MSC 50 is the most cost-effective solution for controlling the speed of boxes and plastic trays traveling on gravity roller conveyors and spirals or the end sections of sorters. Suitable for handling goods weighing between 0.5 kg and 35 kg (1lb – 77 lbs), the innovative system ensures lightweight packages move smoothly, while limiting the speed of heavy goods traveling along the conveyor.

MultiControl can be used as a network card or autonomous controller. It includes the necessary logic for zero pressure accumulation. Up to four sensors, four Interroll type EC310 RollerDrives and four additional configurable inputs or outputs (via a Y cable) can be connected to the MultiControl module, which makes it possible to efficiently control conveying processes across several zones.

Interroll solutions for internal food logistics meet a diverse range of specifications, making them a safe investment for improving plant operating efficiency and making logistics processes more flexible. Interroll products are suitable for a broad range of applications. Rated for ambient temperatures down to -40°C, they are maintenance-free and easy to swap out and repair – the optimum answer to increasingly strict food industry quality and process specifications.
