Intelligent control for conveyor systems of any complexity

Our controls cover both standard and more demanding conveyor applications. DriveControl supports systems with a limited number of RollerDrive, while MultiControl—a four-zone control compatible with multiple protocols—enables more complex setups, from autonomous conveyors with integrated logic to PLC-controlled systems via fieldbus communication.

Q&A

Multicontrol is an electronic control solution designed to connect and manage multiple motor‑driven rollers and sensors, enabling decentralized control up to 4 conveyor zones.

Decentralized controllers, zone controls, and communication modules.

Interroll controls are used to operate and coordinate RollerDrive and other conveyor components, managing start/stop, speed, direction and accumulation logic in automated material‑handling systems.

They manage motor operation, sensors, and zone logic.

Common industrial fieldbus and PLC communication standards.

Yes, including zero-pressure accumulation and dynamic routing.

Yes, Interroll controls are designed to support zero‑pressure accumulation by controlling conveyor zones so that products do not touch while being buffered.

Decentralized systems reduce wiring, improve scalability, and simplify maintenance.

Decentralized controls near the conveyor zones reduce wiring, simplify expansion and allow faster installation, while higher‑level PLCs focus on system‑level coordination.

Dedicated conveyor controls are recommended when you need zone‑based logic, accumulation, sensor integration and modular expansion beyond simple speed control.

Controls can be integrated into overall safety concepts, for example by enabling safe stop functions and coordinated shutdown according to relevant standards.

Preconfigured functions for zone control, accumulation and motor protection can significantly shorten wiring, programming and commissioning time compared with fully custom solutions.

Selection depends on the number of zones, required logic, communication interfaces and integration with higher‑level control systems; application engineers can help define the best configuration.
