Thomas Baack is the new Managing Director of Interroll Trommelmotoren GmbH

Sant'Antonino, Switzerland/Baal, Germany, September 27, 2022. Effective October 1, 2022, Thomas Baack will take over as Managing Director of Interroll Trommelmotoren GmbH in Hückelhoven-Baal, Germany. The 39-year-old industrial engineer will manage the site and the associated global Centers of Excellence Drum Motors and Hygienic Solutions.

Baack's professional experience includes more than 10 years in leading positions in production management. After studying mechanical engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen University in Germany and the Technical University Madrid (UPM) in Spain, he began his career at Saint-Gobain Glass Deutschland GmbH in Cologne, Germany. Since 2014, he has worked for Pleiger Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG in Witten, a medium-sized manufacturer of hydraulic components and systems, as well as wastewater pumps and nonferrous metal products. where he held various management positions in production before being assigned the management of the entire technology and production in 2019.

In his new position at Interroll, Baack will report to Jens Strüwing, Executive Vice President Products & Technology and member of the Interroll Group Management.

With our global Centers of Excellence for Drum Motors and Hygienic Solutions, the site plays an important role in our future growth," said Jens Strüwing, Executive Vice President Products & Technology of the Interroll Group.

Baack succeeds Dr. Hauke Tiedemann, who left the company at his own request last July.
