The need to implement customer requirements into products with maximum added value has resulted at Interroll in a global network of Centers of Excellence.

Each Center of Excellence concentrates on a specific product area and has worldwide responsibility for product management, R&D, production, strategic procurement and logistics as well as providing technical support for local production, assembly and service companies. With these they form a global network for the delivery of precisely pre-assembled, ready-to-install units according to deadline.

The complete range of product processes are continuously optimized according to Kaizen principles. The ISO-certified centers place their trust in sustainability and have a wide range of application expertise as well as professional test centers for testing products.

The Interroll Production System (IPS)

In 2006 we decided to apply the principles of the Toyota Production System.

The Interroll Production System (IPS) was developed to ensure the high availability of our products at the highest quality and with a very good price-performance ratio. Today, it has become one of our unique selling points.

We are concentrating our resources on developing application-oriented product platforms. The modular basis allows us to focus on continuous development of new products. We strive for a rapid introduction to the market.

Rollers & RollerDrive

The Interroll Center of Excellence in Wermelskirchen, Germany focuses on conveyor rollers, RollerDrive and controls. We are producing more than 13 Million conveyor rollers per year worldwide.

Conveyors

The Interroll Center of Excellence in Mosbach (Obrigheim site, Germany) focuses on a range of conveyors used in both unit handling and pallet handling. These include roller conveyors such as the Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP) and the Modular Pallet Conveyor Platform (MPP), as well as belt conveyors such as the Interroll Belt Curve.

Drum Motors

The Interroll Center of Excellence in Hückelhoven-Baal (near to Düsseldorf, Germany) concentrates on drum motors used as drive solutions in belt conveyors for food processing and other systems for internal logistics.

Sorters

The Interroll Center of Excellence in Sinsheim (near to Heidelberg, Germany) concentrates on sorters implemented at key locations in internal logistics. These includes crossbelt sorters (horizontal and vertical) as well as split tray sorters.

Interroll Regional Centers of Excellence

In order to quickly meet customer needs in all parts of the world, regional production centers (Regional Centers of Excellence) are in place.

These facilities are under the direction of the Global Centers of Excellence.

Assembly plants (local assembly) are supplied by production plants with semi-finished products and assemble products for the individual, local market.
