Group Lead Project Management (m/w/d)

What are my responsibilities?

• Lead and develop a group of project managers, fostering a performance, learning‑oriented and accountable project culture
• Take ownership of complex, high‑impact, or critical projects and programs and ensure delivery on time, on budget and quality
• Coach and mentor project managers in leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence
• Define, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks
• Ensure transparency on project status, risks, dependencies, and financials through structured reporting and KPIs
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across projects and interfaces
• Support budget planning, cost tracking, and resource management for projects and programs
• Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and adoption of best practices in project execution
• Establish and foster global project management network within Interroll 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable education
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project or program management in an industrial or technology‑driven environment
• Several years of leadership experience managing project managers or cross‑functional teams
• Proven track record in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects successfully
• Solid understanding of product development, engineering, and industrialization processes
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, SAFe) is an advantage
• Fluent in English; German language skills are required
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities
• Intercultural competence and collaboration skills
• Highest level of accountability and ownership
