Picking goods is part of the daily routine in a warehouse. Different systems are available that simplify and optimize the job when it comes to goods of the same size. But if additional cartons and containers of different sizes must be stored and picked, more flexible solutions are required.

Warehousing: Efficient and error-free operations thanks to First In – First Out

Interroll Versi Flow is based entirely on the principle of First In First Out (FIFO): The goods stored first are automatically picked first. Thanks to excellent space efficiency, the available space can be used up to 90 percent. This guarantees efficient and error-free operations, because while the shelves are loaded on the feed side, goods are simultaneously removed on the output side. The storage guarantees quick access to the items and ergonomically improved storage and output of goods at operating temperatures between -30 °C and +45 °C.

The system also fits perfectly into existing shelving systems—the continuous modules with the new aluminium carriers are compatible with all common rack crossbars.

More enjoyable shopping experiences for customer

For me, the end product is world class. Not only does it save time for retailers who don't have the product in stock, but it also provides the customer with an even more enjoyable shopping experience.
