Growing together: Under this motto, Interroll organized an exclusive four-day product training for a group of international Rolling On Interroll partners, machine manufacturers and system integrators from Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. The training - focusing on the Interroll Drum Motor and the modular conveyor platform MCP - hosted in the Interroll Academy in Baal, Germany, the training also turned out to be a unique networking opportunity for all participants.
At Interroll, ongoing learning and training is an essential part of everyone’s job. Interroll shares this belief with its customers, who are regularly invited to take part in professional product training sessions at the Interroll Academy. The trainings are frequently organized for employees of one specific customer, but the most recent training at the academy this year, from March 19 to 23, brought together a broader group. Seven customers, all of them Rolling On Interroll partners, met in Baal, Germany, for in-depth training on Interroll’s new drum motor platform and its industry-leading Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP).
Focus on hands-on sessions and experience sharing
The classroom training was divided into two two-day modules led by experienced Interroll trainers and external speakers. The modules included hands-on sessions where participants — all product or application engineers — were asked to install and assemble Interroll products and use the corresponding CAD-based planning tools, such as the Interroll Layouter for MCP.
The exclusive event was also a fruitful networking and sharing experience thanks to the group’s homogeneous composition, with all participants coming from Iberian and Latin-American countries and speaking the same language. Two ROI partners gave presentations on recent projects and special applications for which Interroll products made the difference.
Inspiration for the Food Industry at ANUGA
Another commonality among all participating companies was their vast experience in the food industry. The program was rounded off accordingly by a visit to the international ANUGA trade show in Cologne, Germany. The visit allowed participants to see the latest food processing innovations from around the world, including Interroll’s MCP for deep-freeze applications, which was launched there.
"With this ROI product training at our academy, we wanted to train our customers on our main products and facilitate a two-way dialogue, with lots of exchanges and discussions among the participants,” said Rolling On Interroll Program Director Franz Schöpf. “For us, the event was a unique experience and we are extremely happy that these ROI partners began to talk about joint business opportunities right after the training. This is what our ‘Growing together’ claim really means."
