LogiMAT will continue to grow in popularity in 2019: With more than 1.600 international exhibitors, the trade fair for intralogistics and process management taking place in Stuttgart from 19 to 21 February 2019 is fully booked. In addition to an overview of current products and innovations, trade visitors can look forward to solutions from global players, medium-sized companies and many world premieres.

For exhibitors from all over the world who do business in Central Europe, LogiMAT is a presentation platform for new developments and innovations. More than 130 world premieres and trade fair innovations have already been announced in advance of the fair. Under the theme of "First-hand intralogistics: Intelligent – Efficient – Innovative", the latest developments for mastering the challenges of digitization, industry as well as logistics 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT) will be presented here. With the first-time integration of Hall 2 and the gallery area in Hall 1, the Munich-based trade fair organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH has expanded the exhibition space by an additional 7,500 square meters to 120,000 square meters, thus making use of the total exhibition space available at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.

Strong international presence, traditional hall occupancy

Almost a third of the more than 1,600 exhibitors come from other European countries and overseas: Australia, China, India, Japan, Canada, Korea, Taiwan and the USA are represented with around 90 exhibitors. The organizer expects a total of around 57,000 international trade show visitors.

Traditionally, the halls at LogiMAT 2019 will once again be divided into exhibitor groups. As the strongest group, the machine and plant manufacturers will present their current goods flow portfolio in Halls 1, 3, 5 and 7 as well as in a section of Hall 2. The focus here will be on holistic process automation with scalable offers for optimized production processes in small quantities up to batch size 1. The technologies range from automated guided vehicle systems, via innovative stationary and mobile picking robots or intelligently designed conveyor technology construction kits to route trains and innovative high-performance shuttles. The exhibits also include IT-supported service offerings for layout planning and plant design as well as for maintenance, repair and spare parts requirements.

The exhibitors of the complementary product ranges and new developments from the fields of packaging, packaging and weighing systems, containers and labelling technologies can be found directly opposite in Halls 4 and 6 on the southern axis. Visitors to the fair can expect a range of products there, from new turntable stretch winders, 3D center-of-gravity scales and 3D freight measurement in a mobile version or as a permanently installed ceiling variant, to digital security printers, forgery-proof labels and extended RFID printers, labels and applications, to logistics 4.0 solutions in the returnable sector and the presentation of semi-automatic packaging islands.

Information technology plays a key role

IT plays a key role: the suppliers of software solutions for intralogistics, the second largest group of exhibitors at LogiMAT 2019, are represented in Halls 6 and 8. There, trade visitors will find a large number of differently designed warehouse management systems with new functions for holistically networked processes and initial applications using artificial intelligence (AI) methods. Solutions for industrial wearable computing-based augmented reality (AR), telematics and transport management as well as information security management systems (ISMS) will also be on display.

All of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial trucks will be present in Stuttgart. In Halls 9 and 10 opposite each other, they will present new developments in industrial trucks and accessories, driver assistance and fleet management systems, with a focus on solutions for battery and energy management in Hall 10.

Another focus of LogiMAT 2019 will be the joint stand "Innovation Made in Germany" in Hall 2, where start-ups will present innovative products and solutions from the fields of distribution, material flow, software and IT. In addition, TradeWorld, the competence platform for trade processes, will also be presenting itself here with offers relating to e-commerce and Omnichannel.
