Philipp Fürhofer studied Painting at Berlin University of Arts and completed his degree course in 2008 as a Meisterschüler (Master student) with Hans-Jürgen Diehl.
In 2009 he was awarded the Erwin-Steinblum grant and has already been represented in many international individual and group exhibitions, including exhibitions in Hong Kong,
Johannesburg, Milan and Berlin. His transparent base surfaces include video and stage setting installations, as well as light boxes, window works and objects.
