The speed and functionality of conveyors using gravity as the driving force can only be determined by application specific testing due to variables such as conveyor length, product weight, deformability of product, etc.
Driven Conveyors:
It is NOT recommend inclining or declining Driveshaft driven conveyor although a gradient to up to 5° may be achieved. Application specific testing is recommended.
