The control board Z-Card of the individual Intelliveyor modules are used for zero pressure accumulation conveying of parcels and similar goods. Conveying systems with 24
V-DC-motors both brushtype and brushless can be equipped with this control system.

One Z-Card contains all the electronic equipment necessary to operate up to four accumulation zones or complex conveying functions (e.g. inward respectively outward transfer
modules).
The Intelliveyor system, being a decentralised and intelligent control system, is designed in a way that allows a complete system to be built up respectively to be simply extended
later on according to the plug and play principle. The system selfsufficiently assumes the conveying of cargo past the conveying line controlled by it, e.g. for four accumulation
positions.
Straight conveyors (one to four accumulation zones) as well as inward and outward transfer modules can be used.

The communication between the individual Z-Cards is realised by the so-called Easy Bus (galvanically separated serial interface). This offers, besides the communication upstream
and downstream, management functions (e.g. error messages with additional information), too.
To keep the system easy, the Z-Card has got a rotary switch to choose one of 16 different function modes of the control. The furnished functions cover all standard cases of
operation occurring in the conveying technique field. Thus, for all modules the same Z-Card is used and the required function is only chosen at its ultimate installation. This way
the storage of spare parts is simplified and reduced in spite of the high versions' variety.

For the connection to external systems each control system has got four galvanically separated digital in- and outputs. Among others they are used for the following tasks:
-
The transfer of cargo to external systems
-
The exertion of influence on the modules' performance of the inward and outward transfer
-
Release of an error signal

For the connection to a superior control system a CAN Bus adapter is available besides the digital in- and outputs. By means of a rotary switch an explicit identification number,
which can be accessed individually per CAN Bus, is set on each Z-Card. Via this interface the active information of a Z-Card (motor status, sensor status etc.) can be recalled.
Furthermore it is possible to control the functions of the control system (e.g. performance of the inward and outward transfer). In order to meet today's requirements
regarding the superior control system even better the Gateway AnaGate CAN is available to translate the CAN Bus to Ethernet with TCP/IP. Thus, all functions provided on the CAN
Bus can also be obtained via today's standard network protocol TCP/IP.
