Conveying and friction accumulating via radial friction clutch between drive unit and slide bush (one-sided friction). The driving force of the roller is load-depending, it sets
itself automatically. Friction roller series 3800 and fixed driven rollers series 3500 have the same dimensions. They can thus be combined easily with each other and also be
retro-fitted with the other drive types (friction/fixed drive). Rollers series 3800 are based on the universal roller series 1700, e.g. roller housings of the roller series 1700
are to be found on the non-driven side. The drive elements are optionally available in plastic (Sprockets - Polyamid 6.6, Toothed pinion - POM) or steel. Sprockets made of plastic
are non-abrasive, tough elastic and noise damping. Sprockets made of steel are precision turned with precise teeth. The maximum load capacity of the roller is directly dependent
with the amount of accumulation during the whole operational time.
