| In February 2009 Interroll strengthened its market development and expansion at three locations within the Asian region. Interroll opened a production facility with a licence partner in Bangalore in Southern India to supply the Indian market with conveyor solutions for material handling systems. The new Interroll factory in India's fifth largest city will concentrate on innovative product solutions with Drum Motors, RollerDrives (DC driven rollers) and Conveyor Rollers that can be used in food processing conveyor systems, for conveying luggage at airports or in production logistics. "The market of the second most populated country in the world offers enormous potential for our key products for material handling systems", as Interroll's CEO Paul Zumbühl emphasises. |
