Product Description

Backstops prevent roll-back of the belt and load.

Applications

  • Single direction inclined belt conveyors

  • For preventing run-back of the belt and load when the power supply is off

  • Not for Drum Motor 113S

  • Asynchronous drum motors only

  • Not for AC-PM Synchronous motors

Characteristics

  • Bearing runs only in one direction

  • Fitted to the rotor shaft, except 80i

  • Fitted in the end housing on the 80i

  • No electrical connection necessary

  • Higher holding torque than an electromagnetic brake

The rotational direction of the drum motor with backstop is indicated by an arrow on the bearing housing on the electrical connection side.
