The new subsidiary Interroll Logística Ltda., operating in Brazil since January 2008, has already successfully established itself in the market within a short time and has
secured a pleasing level of orders in the seven-figure region in Euro. The company in Pindamonhangaba, near São Paulo, with a current workforce of 10 produces, assembles
and sells conveyor modules for the Dynamic Storage sector and conveyor components for the Drives & Rollers sector in the Brazilian market.
For joint market cultivation of Argentina and Chile, Interroll Brazil is responsible for production and Interroll Spain for sales. "Incoming orders in the first few months
were a complete success!" says Managing Director Dirk Hahn, an Interroll employee for many years, who speaks fluent Portuguese and is very familiar with Brazil. Before
foundation of the company in his new adoptive country, Dirk Hahn was instrumental, among other things, in expanding the pallet flow storage business in Russia and the Middle
East.
Interroll Brazil has a production area of 1,800 square metres and administrative offices of 140 square metres. "We intend to further expand the current product range, in
particular in the food and automotive sectors, by the end of the year in order to exploit the very promising market potential even better", says Dirk Hahn, underlining the
plans for growth of the new Interroll company in South America.
