Nataly Hocke, was born in Kassel in 1971, and studied Sculpture at Berlin University of Arts and completed her degree course in 1999 as a Meisterschülerin (Master student)
with Rebecca Horn. In 1998 she was awarded an Erasmus grant from the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London and in 1999 was awarded a studio grant from the Karl Hofer
Society in Berlin. Over and above objects, photographs, drawing and texts, Nataly Hocke has also developed many room installations. She lives and works in Berlin.
